Nearly Christmas, and the Watford game, and I'm feeling crap. All the usual symptoms that men get with THEIR flu but never affects women. Any cures out there to help me with my woes? The funnier the better, I need a good laugh to lift my spirits. Many thanks. :down:

Me too, third day at home today, working bits of it. Feel shit. Got Benlyns Mucus mixture yesterday evening but as another poster said not making much difference

The only one that really works is sudafed. It decongests you at least. No point in talking all the other stuff, you might as well just take plain old paracetamol which is about 40p a pack. It’s the same stuff.

The only thing that works for me is:

Eye of newt
Tongue of frog
Wing of bat
Integrity of Palace fan (if you can find one)

Heat for 15 minutes on a medium hob and add Harveys to taste.

Repeat every 3 hours until cured.

Garlic, onion, ginger, horseradish, ginger, applecider vinegar, hot chillis . Strain swill drink. Keeps everyone away. Failing that get stuck into the whiskey.

I drink the following:-

Wild Turkey (other bourbon or whiskey will do)
Honey
Whole Cloves
Lemon
Hot Water

Far nicer and more effective than shop bought medicines.

Sending you best wishes for a quick recovery brother, rotten time of year to get and women have NO idea of the pain and suffering. The closest thing they can get to experiencing is giving birth...
