Indeed. Always respect clubs that compete in that part of the country and hold die hard fan bases. I hope the new owners respect their great traditions. Barnsley is a wonderful town rich in social history and the club is part of that.

Loved matches at Barnsley when I lived in that area. Proper grim northern ground with 4 sheds for stands and a view through the drizzle of the local coal mine. It hadn’t changed much when we went to the away match last season. Within a stones throw you’ve got 6 or 7 professional sides all fighting for a fan base.
