Done an dusted, waiting 4 window 2 open then announce. 2nd one being negociated. Watch this space. All will be revealed. Have faith.
Just out of interest when will 'all be revealed'?

If you're gonna prognosticate over an Albion striker stick to the basics:-

If this were to be true, imagine how excited Spartak Moscow were when they found out one of their players was attracting interest from the Premier League.
Even with all the Champions League money they'd still be thinking 'oh here comes another massive paydayski', only to find out it's Brighton and a €5M offer.

Why would any Premier League team offer €5M for a striker?

Taking both clickbaits at face value, that'll be over £15m increase in offer, in 3 weeks.

I'm not sure trawling around Europe making insulting offers for players is really the way forward.

Hi guys
Some info regarding "who the hell we are bidding 20M for".
His primary position is Defensive Forward but he also plays well as Target Man.
Pros: strength, jumping, speed
Cons: finishing, injury proneness
He wins huge amount of aerial challenges both in the offense and during defensive set pieces. Usually puts a lot of pressure on opposition defensive midfielders and defenders. His jumping seems to be the best in Russian League. He's also quite good in assisting.
However his finishing is something he should significantly improve. Also missed quite a lot of games in this and previous seasons due to different muscular injuries.
He's important player for Spartak and we're not willing to sell him but as I understand 20M looks like his release clause so now it's up to him ans his agent.

So put Izquierdo in the middle where he doesn't have any space to use his pace, and then don't play Gross - who has more assists than any other player and is probably our player of the season. Rightio

playing him upfront is not going to limit his space and will increase his opportunities to run at defences which is what we are missing. Don't think this should be our main strategy but should be part of a plan B or plan c when playing a big man up front is not working. Similarly allowing gross to stay up more would be beneficial as he does have an eye for goal.

Observer reporting
'Brighton are set to offer Spartak Moscow £20 mil for striker Ze Luis.'

So how will this end? One of their players gets injured so transfer off, failed medical, player says yes and changes his mind at the last minute of the transfer window or he’s not even on the radar?

These aren't the players you're looking for.

if he was he wouldn't be 20 mill???

Watched him when they played Liverpool and he was bar far their best player, although his shooting in that game was a bit suspect. That said he would be a huge improvement on what we already have. Very skilful and quick.

Brighton
The Seagulls failed with a bid of €5m at the start of the winter market, but have now tabled a hugely improved proposal.

Sport-Express*says Brighton have offered €20m for the Cape Verde star.

Ze Luis*is entering his third year with Spartak and this season has scored four goals in 14 games.

Bit of a jump that... either miss quoted or nonsense surely...

It would rather contradict our belief that Tony is a master negotiator.

This seems like a 'take it or leave it' offer. Either we get him or we move on. We could have taken a lot longer and gone up in €2m chunks, but that would have annoyed everyone - and given rise to comments about our seriousness.
