Alan Sanders, presumably. He joined Albion from Swansea Town (as they were back then) and left in 1966 for Cape Town. He had moved from Everton to Swansea Town in November 1959 (letter taken from The Everton Collection website):-

It actually looks like the same typewriter that was used for a letter I received from Pat Saward. I know the letter is somewhere but I haven’t seen it for years and haven’t a clue which drawer it is hiding in. One day it will turn up again I’m sure.
