I really hope the recruitment team are working overtime to bring in new signings very early in January, as there are some important fixtures which could decide our premier league future in the first 2 months of the New Year.

Bournemouth (h) but too early for new signings
West Brom (a)
Chelsea (h).
Southampton (a)
West Ham (h)
Stoke (a)
Swansea (h)

A possible 12 points in my view, but please don't wait until the last day of the window to strengthen the squad.

Really hope that for once we sign someone on day 1 of window, but I fear that will be hard or impossible in the frenzy for strikers that will exist.

The Jan transfer window is morelike Feb. They’ll be no signings of note. We cannot compete. It’ll be same old same old regarding how tough the market is and how even L1’s best are on higher wages blah blah blah. Seriously expect nothing and you won’t be disappointed. Moreover we all know the score surely by now when it comes to new signings? And strikers especially. You’re a fool if you think anyone of note is coming to the Amex to rescue our season inJanuary. It doesn’t happen at other clubs let alone the Albion.

We just can’t compete with the buying power of Swansea/West Brom/Crystal Palace

Will it be the usual excuse when we sign nobody because they are not available or too expensive in January. n One would hope they have a couple lined up and virtually signed just waiting for Jan to arrive to register them
