The above pic is one I had not seen... in many ways it says it all. Of Japan does not claim to be a Christian country but the sad fact is that today,around here, a lot of kids would not know the difference between Santa and Jesus.....
I guess I am old fashioned. .

Theresa Stewart,the utterly humourless PC former leader and Mayor of Birmingham City Council.Her,and Birmingham Labour,tried to extract every ounce of joy from the festive season by changing it to Winterval,,because a certain religion didn't like it..Horrible bunch,who had to eventually return things to normal due to world-wide ridicule.
