Does all of this badinage mean thems up the road WILL or WON'T get a full allocation?

I think they should.

Zero chance, I would imagine.

After the police’s bleating about ‘the most serious disorder in recent history’ or whatever it was, they can hardly announce that this time they’ve decided to give Palace twice the allocation they had last time (although maybe if they did then people wouldn’t need to try and break in).

Indeed, that's how I see it. I saw sod all trouble, and was unaware of the nawtiness until the next day. A full 4,500 and sensible policing/stewarding with a 12.30.....piece of cake.

Edit: The rubber glove searches for bangers and alike.

The Sussex Constabulary really need to up their game for the cup game .
Apart from about 100 fanatics acting up, there were no major issues, and the only problems were caused by the police not having a scooby what the hell was happening. The reports of knives and knuckle dusters being found ( if at all) seems to be a way of deflecting criticism.
Policing Pride and beggars hardly stretches them, or does it ?
Come on Edna and co, pull yer fingers out !
You are absolutely spot on there, after all the Sussex Constabulary should have been totally aware that morons following (I will not call them supporters) would be travelling down here with the sole intention of breaking into the Amex and stealing the seating areas paid for by true supporters of your club. What on earth were they thinking, after all we've been at the Amex for what, six years? And how many times is it that this has happened now??🤔

If the allocation for the league game was reduced then surely the cup match will be reduced as well. Its not as if the league game went incident free.

Gives the distinct feeling that then police are prepared to go for the easy targets whilst ignoring a more difficult situation as seen against palace. I hope they are going after the HF retrospectively though.

They were telling people that they would be gaining access without tickets tbf, apparently they have already done this several times before.

Surprised if this is true, I was sure it was going to be midday on the Sunday. At least they won't be banning away fans altogether if it's on TV, the TV companies wouldn't want to show that.

Odd, very odd. Would have been far wiser to play at 12pm on Saturday or Sunday. TV wins again.
