I'm gobsmacked that anyone would take a draw now. Why? Really, why?

We have a solid defence, and decent midfielders/attacking options.

We're where we are on merit. They're where they are because of the way they've played. The goals for/against it's the best indication. Christ. we've just played Man U at home and it took a dodgy corner followed by a foul and a fortuante deflection to breach us. So, no thanks, you can keep your point and bring it on. I want to revel in beating them, I want them to see that our relative positions have reversed and they will need to get used to looking up as us.

Yeah, we may lose and it will hurt like f*ck, but there's no way I just want a point. I want to stick a few past them, keep a clean sheet and see them suffer.

Drawing at home against an inferior team is 2 points dropped.

I feel the same way about this one as I did against Wednesday, we need revenge and against Wednesday it was sweet!
Hoping for the same on Tuesday... 48 hours to go!

No, we want a win.

As for Palace forgetting how to log into Nsc, surely that could happen in any case.

Fence.

EDIT - Ok, I wasn't on the fence long, it's shit or bust. We have to remember the aim is to stay up, and for that we need 6 more wins. This game represents one our 6 best chances of a win. We'd also average about 1.4 points from this fixture, so settling for less isn't wise.

Will be a close game, could go either way.
I'll take a point now.

I’m gobsmacked at the thread. With the disappointment of Man Utd still lingering we are going to absolutely smash Palace!

Forgetting the rivalry, but we must target 3 points against teams below us in the league. Simple. It could go either way, but we are clear favourites. Plus about time we had a bit of luck in these fixtures.

"take a draw" is for away games at the top half dozen teams, not relegation candidates at home.

Come to think of it, no, I'll settel for a 1 or 2 goal defeat. That will do me. I will drive the 80 miles back to Faversham thinking 'that was an evening well spent. Well done us'.

We've earned the right to be in this division.

We're playing like we belong in this division.

We're at home.

We need fear no one.
