I heard PMQ 's and Mrs May clearly stated she was against drugs and any liberalisation on her watch.... Strangely, Phil seems to be on them, we have never had it so good apparently!

Borrowing will fall in every year of the forecast, to reach its lowest level in 20 years by 2022

and debt will fall to 79.1% of GDP in 2022-23 - steadily clearing up the mess left by Labour.

Since 2010, we’ve invested half a trillion pounds in Britain
The biggest rail programme since the Victorians
The biggest road building since the 70s
The single biggest investment project in Europe

Public investment will be £18bn higher per year, in real terms than it was under the last Labour Government. Sounds good.

And unfortunately it still doesn't scratch the surface of what's required. By the way, this isn't a dig at the Tories.

Listening to his budget things sound so good that John Redwood might not be moving all his investments offshore after all

That's what fiscal prudence does for you.

I guess once you've bled key areas dry then it's easier to come up with play money.

From April 2018 the first year VED rate for diesel cars that don’t meet the latest standards, will go up by one band

And this will only hit cars, he says. So white van man will not be affected.

Driverless vehicles? There are about half a dozen driving May's government... None of them are Mrs May.

Why is he telling so many shit jokes?
It is classic Tory strategy. Smug and humorous is apparently the right tone in which to do politics.
