Why can't some people just be honest, Hughes knows it was a pen. Better to say I haven't seen it

Hughes has long since been a blinkered ****. Not far behind Wenger in that respect.

Dinosaur of a manager.

Not our best performance, first time dunk and Duffy looked flustered and at times couldn't keep the ball. However, still better than Stoke who are a dirty cheating bunch of ***** aided by a piss poor ref. 2 points lost against a team in thought would be hard to beat but are just a cheating bunch of wankers

Agree with all your comments. Some uncharacteristically slack defending by Dunk and Duffy and the same general lethargy shown throughout the team as the Albion always used to show off the back of one of those wretched international breaks. The continual time wasting by the Stoke keeper went unpunished by a woeful referee, as did the pitiful three-act farce that passed for their goal celebrations. Imagine having to watch that crap every week as well as having to live in Stoke.

How the ref allowed the act that followed the threesome display beggars belief ...and yet taking your shirt off and celebrating in front of your fans is bookable :moo:

I never thought Stoke at home on a wet Monday night would be so much entertainment.
We always seem to struggle after an International break.
Thought Stoke were clever with the set pieces by either going very deep to the back post or near post which meant Dunk & Duffy could not command.
Great save by Ryan in the 2nd half.
Considering the up and downs some of the players have had over the last couple of weeks (Ryan - Honduras/Sydney, Duffy disappointment, Propper injury) they showed true grit getting back twice.

"BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION 2-2 STOKE CITY - RIATH AL-SAMARRAI AT THE AMEX STADIUM:
What on paper looked like an unappetising Monday night Premier League offering between Brighton and Stoke turned out to be one of the most entertaining games of the season so far as they shared four goals on the south coast. "

Always confused me on here too, think whoever started using it got it a bit muddled. Someone ‘earns their corn’, but is ‘worth their salt’.

The Romans used to pay workers with salt, which is where the word salary came from.
