Actually found the answer by mistake after hours of trying. In the top left there is a hamburger menu which allows one to switch to any account on a device. I then went through the voice training with my wife and her account is enabled. I am pretty annoyed with this as no Google instruction or anything on the net suggested adding an account this way. Some of the process for activating various features is way to hidden away and tricky even for a techie person such as myself. Heaven forbid BG gets one of these or Alexa!
