Can't believe no ones mentioned Zamora already!

And Georges Santos played for the Cape Verde Islands a couple of times I think.

Also one I don't think anyone will get... Arron Davies!

Silly old bat
As the title suggests, I was wondering if there was a list somewhere online (or elsewhere) of the full internationals who have played for Albion. They don't necessarily need to have been a Brighton player when capped.

I'm specifically interested in finding out how many of the other 27 EU countries have had internationals on Brighton's books. (It's for a media thing, not Brexit/Remain point scoring!)

Hoping someone can help. Cheers muchly.

It would be easier to list the other 27 countries, as Home Countrries won't count.

Is Ezequiel Schelotto the forgotten man of Brighton and Hove Albion? Just the other day someone asked on here whatever happened to him - in spite of the fact that he was on the bench the previous game. And 31 posts into a thread about EU internationalists to have played for Albion, he doesn't get a mention under Italy (despite being a full international for the World Cup failures).

Schelotto - where's the love? :nono: :(

Few more not in the EU, but within UEFA...

Iceland - Ívar Ingimarsson & Valur Gíslason
Belarus - Ihar Hurynovich
USSR - Sergey Gotsmanov
Norway - Vegard Forren

Vegard Forren - I'd forgotten him!. Perhaps we could have kept him as our 4th. choice CB to let Goldson go out on loan to a Championship club?

I think Gary Chivers played for Malta

Edit: Research tells me he was asked to play for Malta, but was found to be ineligible on some residency rule.

Taken from a QPR board:-

…and here's a bit of trivia

Both Gary and Keith Chivers had Maltese parents and their name was actually Sciberis.

Their father (who worked with my Dad at the Wall's factory in North Acton) thought that having a foreign name would never work in English football so changed their names by deed poll to Chivers!

How times change!

Does Pocognoli count, he was never 'on our books', just a loanee

Casper Ankergren has been an unused substitute on the bench for Denmark and is an U-21 international, as is Mikkel Andersen. Peter Brezovan played U-21 for Slovakia but never the full team

Unless Alexandre Frutos has some amazing backstory, I think thats it. Seb Carole did play France U-19's mind
