The little tabs on the side of kitchen foil boxes to stop you pulling the roll out.

Who knew? My mind was quite literally blown with that one......

They were the first and ony pair I owned. Mates had 1200s same thing. Oh god I learned to mix on some belt drive Soundlabs what a mare that was! Mate had some DD Kams awful as well no torque.

Belt drive KAMs for me. Slightly heavy touch and it all came to a grinding halt. Or the record skipped. Yeah Technics were totally game changing.

A record player with a TAPE TO TAPE deck. You mean I can copy your Eurythmics tape onto my blank one or even copy your Spectrum games?

<Insert Sweet dreams or There must be an Angel pun here>

Heathen, I've boycotted Toberlone since they widen the gaps and reduced the size of the alps. Part of the fun was trying to bite or break a segment off.

I boycotted Hula Hoops when either my fingers got bigger or they got smaller (or both) and wouldnt fit on my fingers any more

Also boycotted Ram Raiders because at some point the wheels topped fitting the car part of the crisp

Wham bars too when they shrunk them and reduced the amount of fizzy bits

Finally kinder eggs when they stopped putting the little cars and stuff in with a fly wheel. I was about 20 at this point and had no need for a plastic mickey mouse

1993 I discovered Linux. I could make my own O/S. Finally free from the cr@p that Microsoft served up.

Fortran. Reprogrammed my life*

*No it didn't. Because my computer skills are a bit shit. Anyway, moving on...
