Looking to take my boys to this but how does a parent get a ticket ? Or are you just allowed in with a ticket holder ?

I guess there is the danger that it becomes an Adult Christmas Party and the kids have to go along as they couldn't get a childminder.

I don't have access to my son's log in (in fact he doesn't have one).

Anyone know if I will I be able to just log in to my own as usual and get our tickets by assigning owners like away matches?

Yeah you should be able to, pretty sure that's what I did last year

I was expecting to just select it then assign owners, but I can't even get that far. Unless of course it sold out in 3 minutes..

I suspect this common sense functionality has fallen victim to the same changes made to ticking purchasing more broadly. Unless the logged in person is able to buy the ticket themselves, they do not get the "buy" option, so can't buy solely on behalf of someone else.

Looks a bit silly when it comes to getting Kids' Christmas Party tickets.

I had a feeling it was something along those lines. Tut tut. I've tweeted them.

Just far enough away from LDC
I had to log on as my son and as his siblings and parents are on his friends and family he was able to get tickets. Interestingly adult tickets have to be assigned to the children....

It then took me 4 attempts to get the payment approved due to worldpay errors

Adult tickets have to be assigned to the child who is eligible to buy.
