I couldn't go, but I'm interested to know what they were like, particularly after the game when we'd stuffed 'em. Any hassle?

By the final whistle I couldn't really say if there were more of them or more of us in the ground.

We're there any who were still in the area with 10 minutes left to play?

I have never seen a stadium empty like that before

Withdean area
Radio 5 spoke, several times, about a fight between West Ham fans half way through the second half. Leaving a few with bloody faces.

Not for the first time since their unhappy move to an athletics stadium.

Great debating skills amongst them.

Reminded me of Withdean, an athletics stadium, stands a long way from the pitch and about 6k to 8k fans in the ground (well after our 3rd goal)

What’s it like watching a football match there, for those who went obviously?

Was given a free ticket by a West Ham Season ticket holder.
I bought the beers.

The fans around by me were a decent enough bunch.
I managed to sit on my hands as much as possible, but a couple of fans nearby cottoned on.
They were perfectly amenable though.

I actually quite liked the ground tbh.

Looked like something kicked off around the directors box area (middle tier behind the dugouts after Murray’s pen). Other than that, not much noise, and by 80 mins I reckon at least 50% had gone. On the plus side, meant we got straight on the train when we got back Stratford [emoji23][emoji23]

Our support was brilliant. What a night.

Result aside it's a dreadful place to watch football. Sound doesn't carry at all, strange atmosphere. Didn't feel like a football stadium at all. But I don't care cos that was one of the greatest evenings of my Albion supporting life.

The ones around me thought we were poor and that was the best they'd played all season. They want Billic out and hate Arnautovic. Should be doing better but I think they're for the drop.
