BHA 0-2 Chelsea. Was a cup game or friendly, I can't quite remember, probably 1974ish - the only Brighton game my data took me to. I have no idea of the first league game I went to.

Amazing, my first Brighton game too. However, sadly I have to report that we lost 1-0. I was in the South Stand, a couple of years older than you, and was fixated on Eric Young's brown headband.

Brighton 3-1 Darlington, 1964/65, the year we won the 4th Division Title.
I know I watched a few games that season before the Darlington game but this one sticks in my memory, as I believe it was the match that won us the title [can anyone confirm?]. 36,000 crammed into the Goldstone, I was 10 years old, awesome memories. Floated home after that one...

Yep, November 10. Funnily enough a friend who is also a Brighton fan says that was his first match too. I stood on a milk crate in the chicken run, aged 10 years, and never felt so excited.
