A TRUE socialist would NEVER pay that so I'm afraid I'll report H T to the party for being a TORY

I FOUGHT about having a proper SOCIALIST breakfast on Saturday morning at the WORKERS pub in George Street but didn't have your NUMBER in my new phone.

Do PM me and we'll meet up next weekend if you want. No CHAMPAGNE.

I bet you are the first person to bang on about 'poverty' and 'unfairness' and probably hates the 'evil tories' and yet you post on here about the poor cuisine in the corporate lounge........hypocrite.

It is poor for £18.

The Tories are still evil whether you pay it or not.

I take my instruction from The Guardian......so I'm at least the second person.

I just read the menu out to Mrs.Mac, she said she'd "have a bag of crisps and something when we got home at those prices"

Tight northerner!

Can some please explain the point of the basket for the chips ?

Sent from my LG-K520 using Tapatalk

Yes it was hand crafted by a dedicated team of local artisan metal workers in Burgess Hill, who specifically designed it to hold 7.6 Lincolnshire grown hand cut chunky chips less than the one made in a Chinese sweat shop.

The Burger on the menu makes me laugh. A soft 'real patisserie bakery' bun. Hahaha!

I guess they need to differentiate from all those faux bakery items out there?

They seem to have had got a job lot of camerised onions to shift as well.

This thread adds to the recent Spoons "knockers" thread.
To summarise, you can pay under-average price for average food at Spoons or top-whack for average food elsewhere.

Food snobbery on the up?

They were giving out free samples of an Italian herb sausage wrap in the North yesterday. Bloomin' lovely they were.

Is this like a Camberwell Carrot? Was it invented in Italy and shaped like a sausage?

My better half ended up suffering with what we think is mild food poisoning last night. Hopefully it wasn't down to the steak pie she had in the Rivervale Lounge.
