These big/ little club debates can rapidly change over a few years. Brighton are a far bigger club at the Amex than at Withdean or even the Goldstone.

Preston, Portsmouth, Forest who won 2 European cups, and for example Coventry who spent many unbroken years in the top flight, are probably smaller clubs at this time.
