Banks Amber Ale at 90p per 500ml bottle from Tesco. Only 3.8% so can have a few and still have a clear head in the morning. What's not to like!

Nothing stronger than water and a real fruit raspberry lemonade tonight. Out of character and no doubt a disappointment to some, but tomorrow I have to somehow get through a day of taking my son to karate, then football, then my daughter to a disco party full of 6 year old girls, while all the while my mum tags along helping*. The idea of that with a hangover is, frankly, terrifying. Plus a day of that will mean the smashing in to anything that moves, booze-wise, tomorrow.

So far. Mimosa for breakfast, six bacardi cokes, two glasses white, two very gassy beers and half litre water. Sat on the beach in Playa del Carmen waiting for Nate to hit. Still only 5pm so the whole evening drinking ahead as well and a 24 hour free bar.
