Yes....road to Clayton, onto Underhill Lane, up to the Windmills, then South Downs Way to just past the Beacon then south to Falmer Village on the farm track/road and past the Swan (going to stop for a pint next time if [MENTION=616]Guinness Boy[/MENTION] is there)

Two and a half mile bus ride from Higher Bevendean according to the AA
Seems a lot closer than that to be honest.
