Police and police horses waiting to meet you in Reading.

Yes caught up in a major escort from Reading to Maidenhead after a hassle free morning of Beers. 50 odd OB what a waste of money for the 15 Tinpot Yoof in the ground giving it large . A cracking but disapointing 3 3 draw played how Football should be.

Back in Sussex
It's the massive A26 derby this weekend.

Tunbridge Wells V Crowborough.

Closest thing Crowborough will have to a "home" game this season I expect.

#bringthecrowshome

Very impressed with Crowborough, first half particularly. 2nd half a bit of a non-event, but match was won by then I suppose

Had a superb time watching Lancing play Eastbourne.

Eastbourne's goalie was sent off after 3 minutes and Lancing came out 4-0 winners.

And I had a couple of nice cold pints while sitting and watching the game.

A+, will be visiting again.

I just read that Eastbourne Town had the 5th largest home attendance in the whole country at Step 9. 450+... they've always enjoyed good support and have a cracking non league ground.

I'm sure my old mate Tobe (Eastbourne Utd manager) will be very pleased with his GK!

I only managed to catch the second half, the penalty was happening as I was returning from the loo, but I did here the Whitehawk fans politely complaing somewhat.
Wasn't a bad half from what I saw

I was right by the incident - nailed on penalty -

Excellent, I was standing with the Wealdstone rabble.
Left soon after the FW, as my tea was ready :lolol:
Perhaps next time

Cool. Did you see Angus Fraser? - he was by the main stand in the second half.

I bumped into the Raider in the club house - but to be honest - he's become a bit of a
'club marketing photo shoot celeb sh*t' thing - so not interested in that angle tbh.

Next time bud.

I'm sure I caught a glimpse of him, but was in a hurry to get in, as I missed the first half.
The raider is a bit of a barnacle on the Wealdstone ship, notoriety is never more important than the club, IMO.
Did you travel up from Sussex?

No mate - live in Kent - but with no trains to London Bridge and Char X this weekend still took me
2 hours to get there.

Went in the Hop and Vine in Ruislip after - cracking place! Have you been?

No not tried it yet, but frequent the British Legion a few doors up, as only live round the corner.

You lucky so-and-so. Never tried the BL - but will do soon. The H&V is top. Friendly, great beer, interesting proprietors and even table service!
I was in there with my Wealdstone fc mate and his mate who has been to nearly 4000 football grounds (the only football league grounds he hasn't been to are Dumbarton
and Rotherham (new ground)).

Without doubt our best performance this season. Could and probably should have been 6 or 7 at half time. 2nd half as you say was a non event. Very good crowd as well (501).

Think it'll be between us, Sevenoaks and Whitstable come the end of the season.
