Loanees' Progress

Now that we’ve got several youngsters out on loan (as well as a few more senior players) I’m interested in keeping tabs on how they’re doing – especially looking to see if any of our DS squad out on loan is looking like making a meaningful break-through.

Thought it might therefore be an idea to have a thread dedicated to them, so that any bits of news anybody picks up - goals scored, MOM awards, comments by fans of the host club, whatever – can be shared on here. So…..here goes..........

Our current loanees are (I think!):

Jordan Maguire-Drew (Lincoln);
Chhristian Walton (Wigan);
Mathias Normann (Molde);
Tyler Hornby-Forbes and Tom Dallison (Accrington Stanley);
Ben White (Newport);
Richie Towell (Rotherham);
Rohan Ince (Bury);
Oliver Norwood (Fulham);
KLL (QPR).

Apologies if any omissions or errors (or if anybody just thinks it’s a sh*t idea).

Not much to report today - Hornby-Forbes picked up a yellow, and Towell and Norwood were both substituted late on in their respective matches.

Walton, I believe, is out injured, possibly for a while?

Lua Lua dropped for turning up late for training.

Did he? Silly boy, then, if that's the case - if you're lucky enough to have the ability to be a professional footballer, even if you're not going to make the PL and £100K week, It's plain daft to pi$$ it all away by silly things like turning up late. He's going to be out of work come next July if he doesn't get anybody to offer him another job.

Today's progress:-

Jordan Maguire-Drew (Lincoln);- subbed late on in a home win;
Tyler Hornby-Forbes and Tom Dallison (Accrington Stanley); - Dallison unused sub, no sign of Hornby-Forbes;
Ben White (Newport); - 90 minutes at RB, with a clean sheet;
Richie Towell (Rotherham); - full 90 minutes in an away win;
Rohan Ince (Bury); - no match today.

Today's progress:-

Oliver Norwood (Fulham); - yellow card in away win at QPR;
KLL (QPR) - still dropped?.

That couldn’t have been today, there are no Championship games and Norwood is on duty with Northern Ireland squad. He played 90 mind against Germany on Thursday night.

Assume he'll need another loan at a higher level before he gets a chance with us, but sounds really exciting prospect.
It'll be good to see one of our youngsters actually get a full season of FL experience under their belts - lost count of number of times we've seen loans cut short by either injury or a lack of game time. Assuming White is indeed there for the season?

Signed up for the full season loan, I believe.
