The eco maniacs and back to nature nuts would agree with that. The health experts and scientists wouldn't.

I, personally enjoyed the article. It is at the minimum a great insight to a players outlook and a teams reaction to a loss. He himself admits the fault it appears. I like an intelligent and eloquent press piece. I am not going to blame him for the loss. He knows he has to improve.

Really, he hasn't made a bad decision at all has he. He either clears it into their half and ergo gives B-Mouth the ball straight back, or he tries passing to one of our players in order to try and keep the ball. That's always the percentage play.
The issue isn't decision making, but technique.
Either way, in his situation, if I were him, I'd always be making my decisions based on the Bruno principle I.e. What would Bruno do if he were playing?

I'm really enjoying the well-written, well-researched, balanced, objective, thought provoking, engaging but sensitive journalism he writes in THE GUARDIAN.
Same here. I still see his chin up picture though after that play off defeat and always contrast it with Gus's 'ceiling' speech. I felt the 'Together' thing and that we go again with this team.
Excellent piece and one that all fans should read.

Not necessarily true. The Guardian is the tenth most popular on-line news site in the world and second only to the Mail Online in the UK. It has 42 million unique visitors each month which certainly compares favourably to the Sun's circulation of 1.6 million.
More than one person will read each copy of the Sun and the Sun also has a significant (but much smaller) online presence and only a fairly small proportion of the 42 million will read Rosenior's article but it is certainly not as straightforward as saying "the Sun sells more papers and so more people will read articles in the Sun than the Guardian."
That would be a very, VERY bad idea!
When Bruno is waiting under a high ball, inside our six yard box, with two opposition players within 2 feet of him, and he decides he can bring it down on his instep, nutmeg one of them, and play a little rabona round the other, it is because whilst the ball is hurtling towards him, he has conducted a lightning quick risk assessment, based on 'benefit v risk + technique'.
Not one of our players can match Bruno's technical ability, so what he would do, is absolutely not (always) the right thing for anyone else to try.

The sports section in the Guardian is superb. And at least it treats its readers like adults, unlike the Sun, which only caters for dimwits.
