AK has always been a somewhat "selfish" player. I deliberately put that in quotes as its not necessarily a criticism. Last year on balance when he ran with the ball, he either got in good positions to setup one of the strikers or scored himself. This year in every match he has played on a number of occassions he has kept the ball and then got caught out. Maybe his Championship Player of the Year status is well known and so opposition players are giving him less time or maybe its because he knows our strike force are too slow so so feels he has to take the entire back four of the opposition on single handedly but we all know that if he continues in that vein he is going to be scoring and assisting a lot less this year. He might, heaven forbid, even be dropped!.
