Not sure he needs s coach for individual training per say. He can play at number 9 anyway. Did on and off for Huddersfield and has done a lot at youth level for WBA and Chelsea. Until Murray or Baldock return I suspect he will be the 2nd option to play there. He may do well under the way we play as he is strong and quick as well as quite tall. He will certainly stretch defences with his pace.

Wait, employing a specialist coach to train someone in a more targeted way instead of just a glorified PE teacher telling them to run about a bit?

This is genius. I wonder why nobody else has ever thought of it?

Kevin Phillips has fulfilled that role at several clubs, whilst Arsenal have had Henry come in and coach it and its a mystery why our first team doesn't have a coach that is specialised or previously played in that position onboard:

Chris Hughton: Left Back
Paul Trollope: Midfielder
Paul Nevin: Centre Back
Ben Roberts: Goalkeeper

Our attackers could probably do with an extra specialised coach on board to help them focus on movement, finishing skills, positioning et cetera. Someone like Zamora being on hand, who's played in the league and know what can be got away with. Would also definitely benefit both Connolly and Alzate.

I think someones been playing too much Football Manager.

I don't play these computer games so could you answer a question? In Football Manager would it be possible to bring a team from the brink of oblivion, go up through the divisions, build a strong fanbase, build a world class training ground and ground, for that matter, then finally get in to the Premier League and then demand that the locally born Chairman (who has spunked £200m of his own cash) should move on, for the good of the club? I know this sounds really far fetched and stupid, but I was just wondering. Over to you, Junior.
