Highlighting this or their past satements and actions = a smear. Questioning or criticizing the actions of a Corbyn 'government in waiting' leads to the usual 'look at the Tories instead' line. Can't we do both? Wonder when interrogating the opposition policies/polticians/actions become so unfair ...
Some valid points there JC. Not sure that you necessarily practice what you preach though. I am starting to think of you as the Lord Haw Haw of Brexit, every piece of news you post is just fabulous, as the country goes from strength to strength and our negotiating and trade teams lay down the foundations for our future prosperity. Maybe I am suffering from social media, just reflecting back my own prejudices, but I think there may be slightly more grey clouds than you acknowledge.
FWIW I do think Corbyn and momentum are happy to adopt bullying tactics to push the labour party in the direction they choose, I don't think it is necessarily a factor in this case. Equally I don't imagine that the remain camp in the Tory party are stunned into silence by the amazing Brexit strategy that is unfolding.

I'm still a Tory, don't fret and as evidenced earlier, still against socialism. Corbyn's got nothing to do with my not supporting Theresa May and everything to do with her doing deals with religious zealots, homophobes and terrorist sympathisers. And if I'm not going to get with that, I'm hardly likely to get with a load of Jew-hating, Monday Club wannabees any more than getting in with the anti-Semite crowd that has attached itself to Labour or the Lib Dems.
I've given you plenty of chances but you still seem unable to get your head around the fact that just because someone isn't left-wing, it doesn't necessarily mean they're a Breitbart-reading alt-right, Hopkins fanboy.

Trust me, I've given a lifetime's consideration to my beliefs. I've read Hayek and Popper, Disraeli, Adam Smith, De Tocqueville. The modern world has proven to me that time and again, Marx was wrong when he said that the collapse of capitalism is inevitable. I've never been more sure that socialism doesn't work and that it doesn't create the free-est societies. Trouble is, politics and economics are not empirical sciences. Politics isn't even a science, IMO. Most of us want the same things ultimately, we just disagree on how that can be achieved.
As an aside - so who do you regard as the good guys in Northern Ireland or are they all equally deserving of your opprobrium.

Thankyou. Always a realist me and have never said it will be plain sailing. My numerous Brexit Sunny Uplands reports are purely a reaction/antidote to the gloomerati. It does pain them so to read good/positive news about UKPLC
Yep bullying and intimidation when they haven't got full control of the party, god knows what will happen if they do get real power. Extremists aren't known for reigning in their worst excesses are they!

I think there's still a lot of good guys on all sides. The SDLP, the Alliance Party, The Greens, Ulster Unionists and to a much lesser extent Fianna Fail (as with the DUP, extremely dodgy views on homosexuality and abortion) are all groups whose intentions, even if I disagree with them, are honest and well-meaning. The DUP, to my mind, is as pernicious as Sinn Fein. It's riddled with links to other British far-right groups and to loyalist terrorist groups.

Its not whose winning the race, its about who wins the race. Corbyn has to make up 60 seats, make up his mind on Brexit, deal with the students he deceived, have a credible front bench, not make any slip ups and have some real questioning by the press and not be allowed to get away with generalisations and populism.
