No wonder out recruitment is in a mess when people that matter can't even read a simple CV! We need to seriously up our game in this department or Glovers gonna waltz in here and nick that last squad number and there's nothing any of us are gonna be able to do about it.

We really need to be imaginative, 1066, the market is against us and we're the sensible ones.

Ideally, we'd be looking into the Kazakhstan leagues and possibly the Maltan league.

Or maybe even further afield. Should we lose out on the big G in a bidding war with Huddersfield, the boy SCIENTIST clearly knows where the goal is. Tried and trusted internationalist. Pick THAT one out, flailing England keeper!

Ideally, yes but do we have time for those kind of luxuries?

I mean, who wouldn't want a Maltese Kazakh at this stage in proceedings? But being realistic, I'm not sure we really have time for such extravagances at this point in proceedings.

This is a fair point, we may need to look to Fiji or some Pacific Island.

There might be some players in Guam desperate to get off the island before they're nuked...
