I would have thought Bruce Springsteen has through the years been fairly cool, Bryan Adams might have been cool once, and Status Quo have never been antywhere near being cool.
But I'm a Nana Mouskouri fan, so what would I know.
........ (I'm not really a Nana Mouskouri fan, but I am old enough to remember Status Quo when they first came on the scene.)

Isn't he a vegan? One of the relatively small number of artists who make me switch the radio off, although not because he's a vegan.

Doesn't matter whether he is cool or not. People who like a band/singer just because it's cool to like them are either shallow or teenagers (or younger). If you like some of his songs enjoy them and if you don't then switch over, same with any artist.
