Will this happen? For me he's now 4th best player in the world and I just don't see how any one player can be worth that much?

I recall the consternation and questions when Steve Daley moved in '79.

Like any product, only 'worth' what someone is prepared to pay. Otherwise valuations are useless.

The 4th best in the world How on earth did you work that out? which 3 players are better? I'd say in this market he probably is worth £300m - even if just for the branding and shirt sales alone.
