Shows it can be done. We need two new quality strikers of course. One will not be enough. At least we didn't have to go through the ignominy of losing at home to Huddersfield yesterday. Now that would have been seriously depressing.
Our newbies might have looked like players if they were up against a Championship team.

And on yesterday's performance, Mooy looks a step up from Propper although it's easy look good against a Premier League minnow.

Unfortunately it's his only highlight, but t'was a lovely strike from the edge of the box later in the second half.
Elvis Manu might look good against that opposition

Even if we need two, the budget is not going that far unless we can find a cheap DS gem. The idea we might pay £40m+ which is what two established strikers would cost is fanciful,.

Mooy is now into his second season with Huddersfield; Propper joined us on Monday. Give the guy a chance.
Not going to argue. A full pre-season would have been good & after a few 'easier' PL fixtures and we'll see the real Propper. Mooy would have been better for us yesterday but I'm hoping Davy will turn out the better buy.

Thourght they wanted £13.? sumfin 4 him. we certainly need a bit of pace upfront altough i thourght we did ok yesday sure showed we need a bit of pace.

Isnt the new player Izquierdo very quick and could be the missing piece in the jigsaw. If so the problem would be the hold up player as neither Hemed nor Murray looked capable of doing it effectively yesterday. Ulloa?
