It's very very strange, and doubtless indicative of the cash rich league we're in, but seems to be that the more we bust our previous transfer record, the more obscure the player. Paying 3 million quid for CMS now seems like a lifetime ago. Hopefully all the signings we had to Google and tolerate their showcase Youtube videos will come good. Tho experience suggests that half of them won't.

For him to be a success we need a left back who he can forge and understanding with and who is solid so he can express himself further up the pitch. We have this well established on the right hand side of the pitch and Knockaert flourishes with someone as competent as Bruno behind him. Pressure will be on Suttner or Bong to ensure this guy is free to do what he is best at

Apparently the person who grants(or not) the clearance is a massive Watford fan. Has a Reginald Kenneth Dwight and Graham Taylor tattoo on each arm.

That's his in form version, not his normal 'what they actually think he is' version. They hike up the stats to make people spend money on their favourite players.

Cannot understand the delay as it is only a matter of sending e mails or was fax if there is no problems. Could there be problems with ownership like Tevez etc from S American 3rd party ownership.

Its just the clunky system that led to clearance coming through for players from Welsh clubs. I doubt theres that kind of issue behind it
