Baldock had an operation in the close season - THE very best time for it - that will hopefully prevent a long term issue with the player's career and make him less injury prone while he's back. Meanwhile, the players we've signed have been two very quick attacking players in Izquierdo and Brown with a third only waiting on a work permit. Groß was got in immediately last season finished and arguably is playing where Baldock would be anyway. It sounds like we've been entirely pragmatic TBH and Baldock's spot in the squad will be down to recovery and long term prognosis from a medical expert, rather than a random internet post from a serial worrier.

Is he out for a while ?.....or are you guessing ? last i heard it was only a minor injury and expected back over International break...
Definitely read somewhere it could be up til christmas but other places more up to date suggesting a month.

From the Club's website:
"Loan signing Izzy Brown will miss out again through injury, but the winger is expected to return from Chelsea next week to rejoin his team-mates, and could be available for the West Brom game."

At the pre Barnet press conference on Sunday - his estimated return was not "until October" due to his lack of pre- season/ operation.

I trust their will be a press release on the update either way on this application. Must keep eyes peeled on club site and The Argus.as I assume they will be notified of the decision to morrow rather than wait to hear in a few days time,

If that is correct I would expect him to be named in the 25 but if it is going to be end of November or December there is no point until January.
