Francisco (Almeria), would be the better signing in my view. Manager AND striker on the pitch.

Haven't read the thread so what I say may have been said...

Over the Golden Gate Bridge at Stinson Beach is a pretty good English Pub
Try fresh oysters at Tamales Bay
Muir Woods
Alcatraz from downtown
Pier 39
Calistoga - geyser
Petrified Forest
Winery at Napa or Sonoma Valley
San Francisco 49ers - season due to start
Jack London Square Oakland
The Bay Bridge and of course the Golden Gate which you can walk
China Town
Little Italy
Golden Gate Park
Whales and seals from near Lands End - there used to be a restaurant/viewing area near Cliff Point I think.


There's so much to see and do - it can get misty at times and usually not very hot - my favourite American City

Despite the fact they are having a dreadful season, I would strongly recommend taking in a baseball game at the Giants if they are home when you're there

I'm no Giants fan, but AT&T park is my favourite - especially if you get seats up behind first base for a day game and watch the ships in the bay
