Not complained much yet. Oliver got the Bruno penelty stop on to be honest. But felt over all he was poor today. How Rooney wasn't booked for his swan dive and back chat I'll never know. If 1 of us did it would of been a straight yellow.
Gross I felt should of had a penelty it's a free kick everywhere else on the pitch. He's the wrong side of Gross and is clear as day a push in his back

I think the ref balanced out his decisions today! In addition to the above an Everton player was tugged back in the box as he was about to shoot and if Propper hadn't been booked he would likely be getting a retrospective 3 match ban for his nasty tackle on that guy in the first half.
He also failed to give Everton a stonewall penalty for shirt pulling in the area.
Totally agree with this. I think he got a few decisions wrong, but spread the love and did not favour either side.

I was at the game, so not seen TV but are you saying that all shirt pulling is given as a penalty? Every time?

Can honestly say didn't see that one. If he did then so be it. Maybe should of been 2-1 in penelties
It is not given very often, but imho it should be. It is a foul anywhere else on the pitch. The incident today when the Everton player was pulled back was blatant (on tv! ) and right in front of the ref.
Penalty was right, but he had an absolute shocker. Really don’t recall the Propper incident, I know he inadvertently caught the players Achilles in second half and was harshly booked.

No. With the benefit of the tv replay you can clearly see he knew he wasn't going to get the ball, he made a second action with his foot which he then plunged into the players lower calf. Red card tackle if spotted clearly by the ref. MOTD 2 should pick it up tonight.

If, like me, you were outside West Lower about 30 mins after the end of the game, you were able to boo the ref as he was given a police escort to his very shiny, silver car...

You can't. Upgrades allowed only if ref didn't see incident. Ref must have seen it to give the yellow.
Mind you, it is all bollocks, actually, and the referee was an 'all about me' kinda ****.

Absolutely terrible performance. How he is a Premier League referee is beyond me. Not seen the penalty replay but, if he got that right, it was the about the only one he got right all afternoon
I haven’t seen a replay of the penalty yet but as regards the rest of the match he may as well have had an Everton scarf on. He gave them everything they asked for.
