No it'll be a BS reason for selling sleeve sponsorship logos.

"The stripe pattern on the sleeve when looked at through 4G, hi-def, TV's will make your logo pop out from the screen".

'That'll be £50,000 and a big bag of Columbian marching powder, you're welcome'.

Still looks rubbish. I thought at the time it looks like the kind of amateur kit a team of relegation no-hopers might wear. Might seem an odd thing to say, but I can't see us ever playing well wearing it.

(I actually prefer what we have. I'm wearing the away shirt as I type. In my views the sleeves are Flair, and look 'old gold' if you squint. That's greeny brown.)
