A striker with genuine pace that offers us an outlet on the counter attack is what's required.
Essentially an upgraded version of Baldock.

Everyone knows we need a striker but we did manage to put two past one of the best defensively drilled teams in Europe

First had a touch of luck, but the second was a thing of beauty. We got into some really good positions down the right hand side in the second half, and also down the left once March had switched to that side....

Yeah but that doesn't matter because, as we all know, only goals from strikers count in the premier league.

It seemed we played the last 20 minutes or so without a striker. Embarrassing for a Premier League Club.

I will be so gutted and will fear the worst if we do not sign a striker of a high calibre. Think Bloom is playing a risky game waiting for other clubs to bring in new additions and resulting in us getting their cast offs.

Risk calculation is what Tony Bloom is all about. He has made an absolute fortune from doing it.

Yes, a Baldock who scores goals.

Chris I sincerely hope you're not wasting your time reading all the sh*t on here!

Chris, don't listen to the negative NSC users on here.

Most NSC users are probably capable of managing BHA themselves. Take as much in as you can. It's going to be a long season.

PS Gross looks like a good signing. Well done mate.

Izzy Brown? Good record at Huddersfield. Nine in half a season? Get him in....oh he's here and he is a midfielder.

These aren't the players you're looking for.

Danny Ings.
Realistic signing IMHO.

Ings when he had knees would be ideal, but who knows what he is like now?

We know that our scouts have been trawling the Belgium, Dutch and German leagues for bargains. Any European football experts out there who can recommend any possible targets?

The only one I can think of would be Russia's no10, Smolov.

It is not an option based on today. About the only negative thing about his performance, he is not a 9. He kept dropping back too deep and we don't have the luxury of time teaching him this position.

If we don't sign anyone else, and if we get an injury or suspension or two, it will be an option, whether you (or we) like it or not.
