Yes I ha heard quite a few though I must profess that of the time I much preferred Lynton Kwesi Johnson.

I think there's an element of irony in his insistence to be referred to as "Doctor".

Saw JCC in Rochester about 15 years ago, supported by our own Attila. He got through one hell of a lot of beer. He's been more healthy more recently I think. Absolutely top lad, self effacing, self deprecating, the bard of Salford, proper ManU supporter, living legend.
