How many more players do we need for the big kick off?

For me it's 2, An energetic tough tackling midfielder and a striker with pace and an eye for goal. The rest can come between the kick off and the window ending.

What's the general opinion?

Before Man City? One - a CM. it's a game of damage limitation so CF can wait. We aren't going to be looking for anymore than that for starters.

Central midfielder and the striker we are craving.

Add Gomez and another winger before September 1st then that's good business IMO.

So in answer to the question, 4 more. 2 before City and 2 before the transfer deadline.

Agreed. I think we badly need a right back, I have doubts that Bruno will be able to cope playing more than just a few games this season.

I fear that three will be about it though, and that we won't be looking to sign any more before the end of the window.

I think we should have our complete squad ready for the start of the season, unlikely i know.

So therefore;

GK - But i'd be happy to have Sanchez as 3rd choice
RB/CB cover - Hopefully Gomez
CM - Defensive
Winger/ST - Another one like Brown. Lawrence would be perfect.
ST - An out and out pacey goal getter.

Might just work though. Give those expensive City full backs no-one to mark and their system may well spontaneously combust.
