Nah, People should have a choice after all it's a free country isn't it ? Not be dictated too. What happened was terrible yes. I don't need to show solidarity with other clubs.. Again it's about choice

(1) What exactly are you being dictated to about?

(2) If you don't need to show solidarity with other clubs that's your choice. I personally am glad about the solidarity shown towards Brighton and Hove Albion in 1997 via Fans United, which resulted in the Albion beating Hartlepool 5-0 in the ensuing match, and we avoided relegation on goal difference instead of Hereford. Where are Hereford today?

(3) You are already restricted in choice on NSC. You cannot post pornographic pictures, you cannot use the word **** and you cannot use racist language. If you feel so strongly about being denied such choices (by the dictatorial Bozza and the Mods (difficult third album due out in September) then why come here in the first place?

Dear Bozza, can we bin off any threads that I don't like and while you are at it why do I get penis reduction adverts all the time.

The only preaching and dictating posts on this thread, are those criticising Worthingite for asking.
I can remember posters asking for previous adverts to be blocked, such as Palace & West Ham clubshops & tickets.

Request are not preaching, nor are they dictating.
Get over your agenda.

What's going on?
Just looked at this thread and I can see an advert at the bottom of the page for ladies summer shoes, from New Look.

*Makes mental note to ask Bozza to set up an NSC crossdresser subforum.

If banner ads are based on former browsing history then the AI still has some where to go, and it needs to improve the dictionary used by the ad software.

This is the one I have just seen at the top of NSC.

Note that it can't spell Spunk or BDSM correctly. No wonder Bill Gates is no longer the world's richest man.

I've little time for the Mirror either TBH, but this is a football site first & foremost & The Sun stained the game with their actions.

It was 28 years ago but they were in denial for years afterwards. Kelvin Mackenzie, the editor, continued to be employed as a columnist until a couple of months ago, until he was sacked for his comments about Ross Barkley, and that was at great reluctance.

If people want to read it, that's there prerogative, but there's no need for it to use NSC as a marketing tool.

It's the same old adage EP, throw a hand grenade into a room and watch the chaos ensue.
The generic newspaper, not even knowing about this debate, thrive on this stuff, free advertising when the newspapers name is mentioned.
These clowns are all the same, dishing out rotated gunk.
End of the day, don't give these pond life the air time and we can all get on and talk about the Albion.

PS: Waiting for STV to warm up on my tablet thingymajig for the Canarie outing today

Disagree. They may be preaching (agenda is a bit of a stretch) but they do have a point, a critical one.

I don't read the sun for my own reasons, which are different to those often cited, but I couldn't care less if I see an ad for it. So why ask for it to be removed? Is it based on the principles of those requesting it, is it because it harms the feelings of those that feel strongly about it or are we just trying to suppress anybody who might not care for yours or my disapproval from clicking on it? Some people do not care for the political stance of a paper or their murky histories, they just like or might like to read it as entertainment (as hard as that is for some of us to believe).

Censorship is a slippery slope, but then I'm probably the wrong person to comment as I find some filtered profanity on here ridiculous.

All this thread proves is that some people will argue about anything on here.

If the s*n went the way of the NOW, the U.K. would be a far more honest, civil and tolerant place to live.

The simple answer is if you dont like The Sun just ignore everything related to the biggest selling daily in the country by a long way. I think this is down a lot to snobbery and people feel they shouldnt read anything related to The Sun. When it starts again I will read striker.
