I accept that. I go with my daughter 99% of the time anyway. There will always be genuinely good reasons to transfer a ticket but like the chap above says, those people have ruined it for everyone.
The transfer of tickets between fans is always going to be a very difficult thing to police. One of my good friends is a season ticket holder at Spurs and he says it happens on a grand scale.

Oh yes, the physical transfer of a legitimately bought ticket to another person is nigh on impossible to police, despite the club claiming that they're going to clamp down on it. What they can, and are, doing is to prevent abuse of the system at the point of sale. Once the ticket is in hand, who ends up with it is an entirely different thing to control.
