Cardiff have put a 30m price tag on him according to BBC wales

I'd rather blood James Tilley then pay that, hopefully it won't come to that. Warnock is a canny operator but he doesn't hold the purse strings at Cardiff so he could still leave even if it's not us.

Agreed he looks a good prospect, and obviously he's already off the mark but he's still relatively unproven.
As for comparisons to the Albion and what they should/should have done instead, its all a bit premature until our striking line up is complete and we're a lot further into the season.

You're probably referring to others comparing other clubs to the Albion, not me?

I'm not overly concerned, pinning my hopes on the club getting the two quality strikers in by 22.30 on Thursday. With that, we have a great chance of staying up and there's the nice internationals break for CH to work with the improved squad. I don't care if they are bought or are loanees.

Without that and the resulting goal threat, we will be in massive shite.

£30m is just Cardiff seeing how far they can push us. The last few days of the transfer window almost becomes like poker. Cardiff obviously want to sell him otherwise they wouldn't be making public statements about his transfer value.

Thank god we've got Bloom.

I've got a feeling Zahore is going to be a Brighton player come friday,
No.

This is where I am to be honest. I think we should have addressed this by now but we haven't and I have to believe that within the next 48 hours the club will get what's needed. They know and we all do that nothing Inbound will probably put survival in this league beyond us.

Mental.

Clubs may make an extra £100mill from the Prem but it soon pisses out the door and into someone else's pocket.

Blimey my internal voice gave that post such a level of surprise I thought for a minute you worked for the club! :lolol:

This one isn't happening unless something drastically changes as £30 million for a player whose had half a good season isn't happening. I believe we have moved on from this a week or so back. Club know who they want...
if they said they said they wanted 20m and rejected all offers and the player got pissed off and handed in a transfer request his value would drop due to him being unhappy

It's £25m.

Someone not connected to Cardiff City FC has added a random £5m to catch headlines.

No way we will pay anywhere near 25m for Zohore

That ends the Zahore transfer to BHAFC idea then. Cardiff will never loan him out - why let go of the striker to propel a club to the PL riches, and only save his wages.

Which narrows our hunt down to Niasse, then of course there's Niasse and the guy who never plays for the Toffees ... Niasse. Meaning Everton may have us over a barrel, and that Parrish/Freedman can destroy that last hope in a second with a call to Everton saying yes, we'll pay the full asking price.

That would be devastating, especially to see the smirking Dougie.

Come on Albion, get deals done.

It's pretty obvious that leaving our transfer business this late in the window has well and truly smacked us in the face.
Cardiff don't want to sell, and know we are now desperate.

If the club gets in 2, never mentioned before, strikers it would be so lush I might pop.

Yup. We should've factored-in failed medicals.
