Will be interesting to see if Norwood features tonight at Southend. If it is just a medical required then you'd imagine he won't be involved. If he is involved, we can assume he's not as close to leaving as it sounded.
Surely he won't be involved - little point tactically for us, and no one wants his loan move ruined by an injury.

The club are taking a different approach from that vehemently pursued by a few NSC posters back in April and May, who stated that the promotion squad must be kept together in its entirity to give all the players a fair chance.

Anyone suggesting that Norwood, Hemed and Skalak for example might not be good enough, were rounded on.

With Stockdale and Norwood gone, and possibly others too to come, the club are making all the right moves.

Thank you for Norwood. It's good to have another creative midfielder and I hope this is not a precursor to Cairney leaving. We actually need a couple of pukka strikers. We had enough attacking midfielders last time round.

Good luck Oliver. Saw glimpses of what you were capable of last season but very hard to break into the starting 11 with the midfield quality we had. Hope it works out at Fulham.

Top Championship player in most systems. We were just better than expected last season and so didn't play 4-2-3-1 as CH had expected but stuck to the old 4-4-2. Now we were promoted he's just not as good as our other deep midfielders and we've had to get 2 more attacking ones in meaning someone had to go.

Personally glad it was just a loan (for now) so we can reassess in 10 months hopefully having shipped Ince and Towell out permanently

Ince yes, Towell no. CH obviously sees something in him, and he's looked lively whenever he's come on. CH appears to want to keep him - that's OK by me; he knows what he's doing!
