It's a huge light show in hangleton but other than a few odd super loud strikes the actual thunder has been fairly faint here, fortunately for the sleepers.

They are pretty impressive. Seem to be increasing in intensity out there. Assuming they follow their current route anywhere from Worthing to Eastbourne should get quite a spectacular show between 12 - 1 at a guess

You sir are spot on.

I turned in at 11 and was awoken not long before 1am and am now sitting watching the most amazing light show from my darkened kitchen facing south over thd sea.

I'm now up, no need for lights with the sky alight. Heavy rain and long rolls of thunder.

This is fun

Suddenly stopped. Almost eerie. Ah well. That was fun. Night all.

Thank god that's over. It was like then end of the world. Whole house awake and watching the lightning. Quite scary really.

As long as my nearly 3 yo doesn't wake up I don't mind. Luckily the thunder isn't banging too loudly. Haven't seen lightning intensity before over here.
