Celtic fans will be laughing but any of Scottish football is looking a joke by association. They need rangers to be some kind of force.

Scottish football ought just to give up. The National Sport is and has been for sometime now...Obesity - Scots are World Cup contenders in that. But football, nah, the minute CMS, Britcutt etc were good enough to play for, you knew they were in trouble. Their regular qualification for tournaments must sound like the stuff of legends now when kids are told about Dalglish and co, ("Wot, we played Brazil, Dad?") when once it was standard.

A new low, in a Hall filled with Lows! Shame on you Scottish FA and Govt. You make the auld enemy look good and that's saying something!!

Even a Welsh Premier League team (The New Saints) who play in England won through to the next round of the Champions League.

And Celtic call themselves the Invincible's because they did not lose to any of this lot.
Scottish football just found it's level.

As I said after the first leg, wait till after the second leg before making judgement.
Probably fielded the U21 squad and thought they would walk it.

They have actually spent quite a lot in Scottish terms in the summer on new players for the new manager, which makes it even more embarrassing.
Difficult to decide who will win that league again next season.

Scottish football just found it's level.

Celtic might manage to survive in the Championship if they were in that division next year but the rest of the teams would struggle in League 2. The dominance of the old firm (admittedly one member is dormant) is driving the standard of Scottish football to amongst the lowest in Europe.

And England couldn't even beat their National team ;-(

Indeed. Although we have to date always managed to beat Luxembourg. But yes, in senior football neither nation has much to shout about at the moment. And laughing at the failure of the Auld Enemy is a bit, well, 'Scottish'.

I suppose an indicator of that would be, with all due respect, the likes of ex-Albion players Dicker and Sandaza plying their trade up there with Scottish Premier League clubs. Dicker with Kilmarnock, Sandaza with St.Johnstone(?), ex-Rangers and someone else. Both never really made it with us in the Championship so the assumption would be their level is League One.

Scott Sinclair scored 21 goals in the SPL, 21..... after signing a month after the season started that sums it up completely.

What were the pre match odds on a home win?

Not sure about pre-match but at HT (0-0) they were 10s/11s

As I said after the first leg, wait till after the second leg before making judgement.
Probably fielded the U21 squad and thought they would walk it.

Rangers starting line-up: Foderingham; Tavernier, Cardoso, Bates, Wallace; Jack, Rossiter; Miller, Kranjcar, Candeias; Morelos

Recognise a few of them, think that is more or less their first team.

Sandaza plays for Girona, the Spanish team we are playing in a friendly
