Imo the hype on here was at unreal levels.

He was a decent player for a shit team last season at mid/lower table.
He's totally unproven at the top level, even Champ top level.

He could be an absolute lightweight overhyped dud, or he could be real quality.

Not worth the gamble imo.

I agree. I think for an established Prem side with good alternatives, he'd be worth the gamble, but we're simply not there yet. We need something approaching known quantities at this stage.

Don't know if the lad had much choice tbh.....this is where we are at a disadvantage...the bigger sides want to loan out their talented young players firstly to a championship side to toughen them up and then to a footballing side like Swansea or Bournemouth.....sides like us West Brom and Burnley don't get a look in.

I am always a bit cautious when it comes to young premiership players who are on massive wages but have yet to justify it. I do worry about the Billi Big B*llocks affect on the rest of what seems to be a fairly tight crew. I was a bit "meh" and now I don't care. I am sure we have something left field planned. Huddersfield's spending doesn't bother me - I'm not that convinced with their purchases.
