Wagner is always going to be under the shadow of Klopp, whenever and wherever he goes.
Whereas Chris Hughton is only competing with Chris Hughton.
I'm glad we've got him.

Mounie.

Back in August I envied Hudd's early signing of a top flight striker, who immediately got PL goals.

But now he's just a sub, who achieves little when he comes on.

Strange. Perhaps Wagner's recruiting wasn't so magical after all?

He's just come back from injury and the other lad scored against Man Utd, so a bit early to draw such conclusions.

Wagner has been a miracle worker at hudd. Klopp has done nothing at Liverpool. Wagner Defo not in his shadow

I was really talking about whenever Wagner is interviewed, especially the one the other day with Lineker on MOTD BBC2, Klopp was mentioned a few times!

Yeah, he is for now.
Wagner will never match Klopps record but I think he’ll be more successful in british footy. He is a really really strong motivator. Reminds me of Mourinho at Porto.
I don’t see it happening for Klopp at pool . He’s yesterday’s man.

You understate Wagner's brilliance.
He has the best qualities of Rinus Michels, Shankly, Fergie and Guardiola.

I see him one day giving a golden era to Barca, Bayern or Real.

Huddersfield are very lucky have him.

This. Wagner is nailed on for one of the biggest jobs in world football sooner rather than later.

I totally agree. Wagner (and Klopp for that matter) are great entertainment. So much better than Mourinho, Wenger and Hodgson at interviews too. He is a very good spotter of talent and seems to get the very best out of his teams

Mounie - £11.5m down the drain?

2 goals against palace and now 2 against us, would suggest £11.5m is a lot of money for a Championship quality striker.

Hudd and WBA to take the bottom 2 places early ish, would be very helpful.

I wonder if they’re paying a physical price for playing the exhausting high press earlier in the season? Armchair pundits say it costs Spuds and Liverpool as each season draws to a close, and Hudd are a poor mans version without their squad depth.

Next 2 games are at home to Bournemouth and then West Brom. Let’s not count our chickens just yet.
