Not if the players they are signing are vastly overpriced and bought in desperation. and nobody else was prepared to pay the price asked.

Huddersfield - only 45 minutes into their PL campaign, but a promising start.

These newcomers are playing:
Mounie
Ince
Jorgensen
Lossl

The others are on the bench.

If they can keep this up, a vital three away points on Day 1.

I'll get in there early.

If he was our signing
*Checks Wikipedia*. He played for Nurnbergs SECOND TEAM and has NO premier league experience. Development squad black hole for him.

Because he has signed for Huddersfield
*Checks Wikipedia* - WOAH. 5 goals in 9 games from midfield in 2017. This is the kind of exciting attacking player Chris would NEVER sign.

As much as I think Wagner is an annoying smug **** who looks like a paedo, if this lad turns out to be any good it will prove him as a genius at picking players with potential. 2nd division reserves to Premier League is a big step up.

Not forgetting 'Field have played and beaten the premier league powerhouses of palace and Newcastle, so clearly they are Premier League Ready, while the Albion and all it's championship/League 1 players flounder.

I know they have sold last seasons striker for £5 million, but I wonder if they have a spare striker they can loan us in the next 30 minutes, seeing as they signed everyone early.

They got the business done early, you have to respect them for that and they had plenty of time for the team to gel.
Wasn't rocket science really was it.

Mounie.

Back in August I envied Hudd's early signing of a top flight striker, who immediately got PL goals.

But now he's just a sub, who achieves little when he comes on.

Strange. Perhaps Wagner's recruiting wasn't so magical after all?

Indeed ..often easier to think how other teams have better players or to write off your own too early.
