Weetabix too, now owned by the Chinese :(

They don't seem the type to be foreign owned:-

Like the sound of being geared up to be regularly top ten, realistic challengers for Europe and for one of the cups...

It does all seem a bit pointless to me if we can't ever reach that category.

I wonder how long it will take TB? My guess would be a "5 Year Plan" with achieving the aim of Year 1 being one of the trickiest hurdles.

I actually think year 1 is the easiest. Very low expectations from the fans who are happy just to compete and stay up. Get past this and then fans start expecting a bit more and then it starts to get problematic.

I don't know if it's common knowledge (or rumour), but a source I know close to a director has said that the club offered TB a substantial chunk of money back (£30m) as a 'thank you', once promotion had been secured.

Tony politely declined it and asked for it to be kept in the club.

I think he's going beyond 'Legend' and pressing for 'Angel' status now?

After a moments thought what would have been initially a flippant, throwaway comment is actually a serious one and fookin scary.
Here it is anyway:-

'what's £30,000,000 when you're already £250,000,000 down'
