Probably. Kayal has been left behind somehat since his injury and needs to re-establish himself. Sidwell probably won't be offered anotyher contract at the end of the season anyway.
Either way, even when they are both finally fit again, it's difficult to know who they would replace.

Babacar - 60th min sub, scored a last kick of the game penalty to rescue a point.

Janssen - A full 90 mins + an assist.
Raphael - Off after 72 mins + a yellow card. Pretty much textbook.
Manager - Fred Hantz - Metz lost 0-2.

Is Delaney actually better than either Dale or Davy - and even if he is, would he bond better with the team (and whichever of the CMs he was paired with) to justify replacing one of them? Or would he come here if he thought he was going to be back up?

Basically does what Dale does but falls short of his distribution which he makes up for by being much more of a threat from set pieces. He is VERY good in the air for only 6ft and if he's not heading it he always seems to get something on it.
We have a very different player in Propper and as much as I love the fact he is technically brilliant compared to the rest, I think CH would have preferred a Delaney/Neto + Stephens midfield pairing protecting D&D.
I wouldn't rule out still signing him, Werder have been struggling. Gross and Propper fighting for a spot and our squad would start to look pretty special.
I'm not sure I want to add another player who doesn't fit the 70 minute club, narrative.
I guess you'll have to wait until next weeks exciting installment to see if he makes the cut.
