Not bad for 3 strikers who get no coaching or advice between them. Mucked in pretty well considering the obvious lack of specialist coaching.

I'm not quite sure how we fluked our way to 2nd place and promotion given the lack of specialist coaching in every position except goalkeeper, we need to sign some full back coaches, central defence coaches, centre midfield and striker coaches, the wingers might feel left out so better get some of them in too. Bloody well sort it out.

Baldock is well worth his new contract, and I have to say until last season I was not a huge fan, but last season he added the goals to his game that were missing.

Not only is he very good in the role he plays behind Murray/Hemed but he could also play in a 4-3-3 if required. He offers a lot of versatility to the squad and I for one am happy he is on board for another 3 years.

Hughton, Trollope, Nevin sitting around drinking lattes while we go about attacking like clueless schoolgirls up front. Clearly no one has thought this through.

There's only 1 fullback coach in the country who could do a job.

He's by nature a number 10. Which is exactly what you've said you don't want in your previous post...

Sorry, I've no idea what you are talking about? You've lost me mate.

Are you saying Pascal Gross is a secondary striker like Baldock has become & Giovinco is or are you saying Giovinco is an attacking midfielder?

Please read these player profiles (which include stats on where these players normally play) and then explain what you are trying to say.

Thanks

I've got bigger feet than Gross.

In your first post, you said we need another Baldock like player to replace him. You then said Gross could be used in a 4-4-1-1 but not our typical 4-4-2 formation. The last thing you suggested is that we get Giovinco.

What this suggests is that you think Giovinco is an alternative to Baldock, which is why I asked you whether you'd seen him play?

If you have (profiles aside) you'll realise that he'd be a much better fit naturally for a 4-4-1-1 behind a main striker, just like Gross, as he's not a natural out and out forward. He's a small, technical type who gets a few goals (yes, he's scored a fair few in America, but so has Bradley Wright-Phillips...)
